Asking for help is one of the hardest things anyone can do. In this first episode of a two-part series, I have the pleasure of speaking with a former Soldier and NCO of mine who has a unique story of perseverance determination and grit!
I broke this into a two part episode because I just couldn’t cut this much great content out.
If you are a veteran who served and struggle with even the simplest of things like anger, road rage, hypertension, anxiety, nervousness, crowded spaces, hyper awareness, and others.
This two-part episode series should be on your list of things to check out. Even the strongest of soldiers can suffer from the smallest things. Asking for help when you’re ready allows you to be in the right mindset to receive that help. Thank you, Brandon, for sharing your story. If only but one, it is enough!
IN THIS PARTICULAR EPISODE YOU WILL LEARN:
- Why Brandon joined the Army and not the Marines (funny story).
- How Brandon compartmentalized what he was dealing with inside, and how it finally became too much.
- How asking for help when you’re ready changed his life.
- How important other people in your life are
- Why gratitude is so important
- Brandon’s technique for coping with stressors.
